Drink driving is a problem for years and which still do not find a solution. This problem is common among adolescents and teenagers around the world, obviously Chile also has this problem and we can see almost every weekend as adolescents and teenagers kill or cause accidents by driving alcoholics.

In my opinion this problem have should a solution firmer, because young people and adults don't realize and many innocent people lose their lives because of irresponsible people and I think that justice should take drastic measures to make this proeblema have a solution

Abdul Shanwaz

Abdul Shanwaz went to Canada, he had been a political prisoner for three years. During that time he was in jail and he was tortured. He also became mentally ill.

In Canada, Abdul was arrested after selling an illegal drug, heroin. He sold drugs to the police,then he put the drugs with a baby and he was surprised.

When Abdul appeared in court , he felt very ill, not feeling well physically. the judge determined that he could not return to jail because it was too risky for him and that he sold drugs because the traffickers earned with him. the judge sentenced Abdul to house arrest and electronic surveillance for seventeen months with an extra two years of probation.

The government appealed because they thought Abdul’s punishment was not severe enough. So Abdul went on trial a second time. They sentenced Abdul to six years in jail.

Wheater Experience

It was about 7 years ago, one Saturday I was at home preparing my mom's birthday with my brothers and even though it was winter day was beautiful blue skies and sun shining to much, but in the afternoon, the sky change over time was covered with black clouds and a wind started to run harder and harder, in my family nobody cared if the weather changed because it was a special day was the birthday of our mother when we were eating and began to rain slowly but after 10 minutes was torrential rain and lightning, but what scared me most was the wind was so strong it almost blew the roof of my house, I felt very scared because I thought that my house was going to fly. the whole street was full of water, the river mapocho and went out of their cause, it was the ugliest day in my life, but best of all was that suspended all school classes and I was happy with that situation.

The most important person in my life in this world is my mother because for me she is the smartest woman in the world, she always understand me and give advice, she is who always worried about all my brothers and we never pass anything wrong.

She was born in Chile in a conservative family, my grandfather always belived in her, because he saw on her a great talent. he spend a lot of money in her studies in the school, the reason was that his daughter will find a good job in the future. First she studied accounting but she didn' t like it, the reason was that she wasn't comfortable because she wanted to study pedagogy in Spanish that was her great passion.

One day my mother decided to go to the University of Chile in Santiago and study in this University Pedagogy in Spanish after that she travel to E.E.U.U for finish her career U.S. she ended her career as the best of her generation, soon began work on a private school but didn't like because she wanted to work in a public school

after many years she worked in differents schools and she felt so happy and comfortable. she retired in 2005 and today is more motivated with the education of Chile.

What can ordinary people do to help in the fight against crime?

Nowadays the crime in Chile has grown in more than 90%, that we can watch every day in the news, I have seen as thieves steal their celphones to other peolpe on the subway, bus or on the street, now the people are afraid to leave their home.

I think people should be more careful with their things for example when they go out, they shouldn't use earring, necklaces of the gold is important that the people not answering the celphone when they walk down the street, is also very important to be close to police headquarters home safer of thieves, people help each other because is so much easier for thieves won't steal from their home. But the most important place affected by crime are supermarket in this places people steal food, bread, alcohol, shampoo and perfumes. Another group of criminals dedicate in the thief of cars and the most affected are women, some criminals break the glass of the car with a rock threaten them with a guns or simply steal their wallets or handback.

I think the solution to all this theft is that in supermarkets there are more security for customers, and auto theft is our responsibility to learn to be careful that we stop streets and not stopping the car if we see people who are suspect also is imporatant people to be more solidarity with those who are assaulted by these criminals and help to call the police to make it much easier to stop these bad people.

Santiago isn't a dangerous city, but there are a lot of crime and the justice system does nothung to change, because the crimanals going to prision only 3 or 5 days, after than the crimenalist returning to steal and the most affected with this situation us.

Sorry it's taken me so long to write, But as you know I've been decorating the House. In fact, I finished last sunday, so I celebrate the "Fiestas Patrias" with all my Family, in my country every September 18 we commemorate the Independence of Chile, in 1810 it signed the treaty that gave Independence to Chile, this commemoration for my country is very important because from that day Chile was a country free and independent.

There 's always typical Chilean food like empanadas, pastel de choclo, anticuchos, choripanes, but the most famous food is the barbecue, because one can do with your friend or family in a house or in a park, other important and typical thing in Chile is chicha this drink is made from the fermentation of the grape. Many people go to the "Parque O'higgings" to fondas, there are typical games, people take drinks, dance and is very happy in these days, on september 19 is the Military Parade is also done in the "Parque O'higgins" this day many people are important like the President, Ministers and the important member of Parliament.

Anyway all this organized by the government so that people see that Chile is a country militarily secure.

The best way to travel in Santiago

In my opinion the best way to travel in Santiago is the subway, because the subway it is faster and not pollution, also important thing is that the subway is connect with all places, other was of transportation can be the bus, there are many in Santiago they don't pollute the city the only problem is that they are very slow and the people arrive late for their jobs.

I prefer to take the subway every morning, I take the train in "Ciudad del Niño" station and then I have to options connections in "Santa Ana" or "Los Heroes" stations, But I prefer to connect in "Santa Ana" is more faster and this station there aren't a lot of people like in "Los Heroes", because in this statition is horrible and impossible take a train, this travel takes me between 40 or 45 minutes to go to University.

Other options is the motorcycle doesn't pollute the city and nowaday are very popular, the people can do exercices, the benefits of motorcycle are never in a traffic jam, the problem we have in my opinion is that they are very dangerous.

Anyway, I think the subway is the best option for travel in Santiago, because it it faster.

Travel Narrows the Mind.

I disagree with the author who wrote "Travel Narrows the Mind", because there are many people who likes travel long distances without caring that there will be in this place only one or two weeks, also there are people who like to climb mountains as important as Everest.

If I decide to visit China, Japon or Autralia can't take a train because it's absurd I would have to travel by train as 8 or 10 months to get to those countries. Although rail train has its benefits because we enjoy the beautiful landscape and meet people from differents places.

In my opinon the author has a wrong thinking on long trips because people are free to spend theri money on whatever they want.

The effect os tourism in Chile?

The turism in Chile has possitive effect and some negative. The possitie is that turism give a lot of money to the country, because they buy a lot of things like clothes, handicraft, they go to the restaurants, another things important is culture exchange also they can visit historical sites and museums.

The negative is the garbage left o the beaches, streets, monuments destruccions like Isla de Pascua and the fire caused some tourists on camping.

Finally you have to visit Chile because is a beautiful country and you can learn a new language like mapudungu, they can taste the typical food mapuche or typical food in south Chile like curanto, chapalele, milkao.

Positive and Negative things about the Tourism.

Many tourists come to Chile in the winter or summer, for example in the winter the tourists go to Portillo, Farrellones,Valle Nevado, in these places the tourist can practice differents sports like ski, snowboar, the tourista can also visit Torres del Paine in my opinion is the most beautiful place in Chile.

In the summer is very different because the tourists can visit many places like south, north of chile, but the most famous beaches in the summer are Viña del Mar or la Serena, these two beaches are that have more tourists in the summer.

The benefit that the tourist visit differents countries is the money, because many touriste buy a lot of things like handicrafts, they eat to restaurants, buy clothes in differents malls, another important thing is the culture exchange because they learn our culture and we learn their culture.

You have the negative side of turists, one of the things that suffer when tourists visits dangerous countries like Brasil and Mexico are the thefts, in this places many tourists steal their luggage, their money and sometimes robbed of their jewelry.

other negative effect of tourist is terrorism that suffer countries like Afaganistan, Pakistan and Isarael or diseases such as swine flu that affect the worldwide turism.

I recommend visiting Chile because it is a beautiful country, quiet and cheap.

I Prefer to learn Malgasy

When I read two stories I saw that the story of my classmate is more interesting, because talks about the History and culture of Madagascar.

The story is about a woman who explain the importants to learn the language, for undertand the interesting culture, in my opinion the most important thing in this story is how many children live in Madagascar, because they can't go to the school and many children in this country have to work for their subsistence. Today en Chile has the same problem with the poorest children.

Madagascar also have interesting place like city of Ranomafona in this place the young people can communicate with a simple language.

In my opinion I would like visit Madagascar because is an interesting and exotic place with a beautiful beaches and I imagine in Madagascar there are a lot of beautiful places that you can visit for example restaurants because the food in Madagascar is delicious.

addiction today to buy clothes or Accsesorios is common in women of all ages, many studies have been done scientific about this addiction and have come to the conclusion that many of these women suffering from this disease is as serious as those who bet money on gambling. for example my sister is a shopaholics person, she can't leave without buying something, because she loves shoes and clothes, she loves be fashionable always, but I really believe that she often loses control because it spends money in not to spend.

When I ask her, why she like to buy many thing? her aswers is always, because I like it.

Advantages of living in the city: Entertainment for example you can go to the cinema with your boyfriend or friends, you can visit museum, better job options and when you want to buy nice and cheap clothes you can go to the mall.

Nowadays live in the City can be very stressful, but also its benefits, in my opinion I love living in the city, because you have better job options and opportunity for all kind things.

Santiago is a very interesting city, there are a lot entertainment places, for example when you need to buy something you can go to any mall because in Santiago there are 5 or 6 mall in differents parts of the Santiago.

You can also go to the cinema, eat at differents restaurants, if you want to go dancing and having a good time with your friends or boyfriend can go to a discotheque or a pub , in Santiago there are many places where you can find a discotheque or pub for example Bellavista, Manuel Montt and Suecia.

The bad thing about living in Santiago is the stress because the people work a lot and polluted winter is a big problem because many children are sick and there is also noise pollution, but the big problem that is currently Santiago is theft and many places aren't safe.

In my opinion Santiago is the best place to live.

I'd prefer living in country side for example in South of the Chile, because in the coutry side you can walk in the forest and breathe clean air, there isn`t pollution, the people outside the town is more friendly. In the south there are many restaurants just cook typical food Chilean. No exist strees, because the people are more relaxed for work, the weather sometimes isn't best, because it winter rains a lot. The country side have some atractions for example in the south are beautiul landscapes, museums and places that have a long history. Firstly, although I felt very happy with the service of the trip, because the prices were cheap and combenientes for me.

Describing a Misterious Man

was four years ago when I went to Viña del mar. One day in the afternoon with my friend Carla went for a walk on the beach we laughed and talked differents things, I remember that the afternoon was warm and beautiful.

Suddenly began to run a cold wind, I felt that someone was looking me intensely and he walked behind us, there wasn't anybody close to then us started to walk faster but I felt that someone was walking behind us mysteriously. When I looked back I saw a man who saw us.we felt so scared that carla and I started to run without looking back.

The problem it was that we had to get home to go on the same street where the mysterious man but when we got to he street it was crowd then we felt more calm because we tought it would never again see the man. we walked while I tried to remember as the mas was alone and remember that his hair was long and his clothes was hippie

Suddenly the misterious man stopped in front of us. he put his hand into the pocket and pulled out a thing. then we felt so scared because I thought that the miseteriuos man wanted to steal but we were wrong because he only gave me my cellphone maybe I had fallen when I walked one hour ago, it was the reazon why he walked behind us.

I gave thanks. he ask me why I ran out and I explain him that we felt afraid, because we didn't understand why he walked behind us. well he told us that he sold rings and earing to touristis visiting to the beach. After 20 minutes of the funny conversation with a mysteriuos man Carla and I went to home.

The next day we went to the same place but never we returned see the mysteriuos man.

the story of a party

It was 3 years ago specially for the happy New Year.
My friends and I were eating and dancing in a big party and also spend many hours. I remember that the party was so far away from santiago. Everything was fine, but suddenly the police arrived and it was a big problem because the party finished at the moment, but the real problem was that the organizer of the party didn't pay the bills. When the police cancel the party, everybody was demanding for our money.
After that, my friends and I began to walk for the road empy and dark, we felt very scared because nobody wasn't there. Suddenly, we saw a hen , it was so funny because the hen looks like my best friend Guillermo. After that we began to see somethig who was moving inside the bushes, we felt very scared because we thought that there was a man who tried to steal something. we went to bushes because we needed to know who was there? for our surprise was a dog who was inside of the bushes. We felt better because it wasn't a thief.
That day has been the most scared in my life, finally the dog walked with us to home.

My Fovorite Film Slumdog Millonaire.

The film talk about Jamal Malik who is main characters in this plot.

This story has a mix between love, money and desloyalty Jamal is a young orphran. who lives in a slum in Bombay. one day he decided to show the version of Indian Who wants to be a millonaire?. But the sorprise is when Jamal answer correctly all of the questions. The presenter of the progam didn't understand as he know all the answer. The problem is when Jamal is about the last question, which will earn him 20 millonaire rupees the police enter to the set and arrest to Jamal. He must explain why he knew all the aswers then He talks about differents moments of his life which also to uncover the real reason why Jamal decide participate in this program.

the computer has greatly improved our lives today

Computers are very important in our lives, the computers have many advantages and disadvantages.however the computers change the way of life and make the life easy.

On the one hand, the new computer are faster than the old computers, because you can find a lot infomation in differents pages for example google, wikipedia,yahoo. also you can read the newspaper online.
Actually the people use the computer for the job, the teenagers need the computer to do their homeworks, other adventage is that you can listen music and watch videos about yours favorite music or group. there are differente models of computers like netbooks, notebooks the most interesting is that you can take anywhere.

On the other hand the computers haven't privacy, because there are many virus and hackers they cause demage in the operating system. other disadvantage are pornos pages because many children watch this pages wihtout their parents to see. Now this problem have solution because there are antivirus which protect the computers and pornos pages that can be blocked.

In conclusion, the computers changed our life because we can study or we can do our homerworks and we can find a lot information.
